AD-MOUNT C – High-Refractive Index Mounting Medium for Super-Resolution Microscopy

AD-MOUNT C is a non-hardening, high-refractive index mounting medium developed for high-resolution and super-resolution fluorescence microscopy. With a refractive index of 1.518, it minimizes spherical aberrations and delivers consistent optical performance across the imaging field. AD-MOUNT C also enhances sample transparency, making it ideal for thick or optically dense specimens.

Its clearing effect and superior dye stabilization make it especially suited for techniques such as SIM and STED using synthetic fluorophores. It is fully compatible with AD-SEAL spacers for mounting organoids, embryos, or tissue sections.

⚠ Not recommended for EGFP, SiR, or other protein-based dyes due to TDE-based formulation (test compatibility experimentally).
